The autistic persons in the world capitalist Forum in Davos believe the debt crisis would be already solved. A funny assumption in the face of exploding debt figures in the European States of crisis and a worsening depression. Nothing is as much funny as total loss of reality. After all, one has recognized now that mass unemployment is a serious problem. Nothing  frightens  managers  more are than the  eventual outbreak of social unrest . Austerity and Misery Yes, but without unrest please!  Even  investing  in the apparatus of repression  is thinkable.

The right to protest, strike and demonstrate has been effectively seized in Greece and Spain follows. But that is a topic that doesn't affect the fine men and a few women in their Davos luxury suites. They keep on repeating the old mantra as a prayer: structural reforms, structural reforms, structural reforms. Only a flexible labour market could eventually provide employment. No minimum wage, no collective agreements, labor without protection against dismissal. But  they  forget something  very essential :  also entrepreneurs hire only then people, if they expect they can sell their products. And they can only sell when someone buys. This is not  the case with imploding demand. The  mass unemployment threat cannot of  course be intimidated by the cozy lifestyle mood of Davos summit participants. They prefer to look away, but  at some point the spreading misery will reach also the fine men and a few women in their luxury shelters behind the high walls of their decoupled parallel world. This of course could be then painful.
